Michael Longfellow Charlotte Concert reviews
Was it a Gucci Mane concert or a free-for-all?
The concert with a group of friends started at 7:30pm and I got there at 8:30 or so.
Opening acts were mostly local so they weren't memorable, but I didn't mind it.
At around 10:30, everyone in the venue is smoking weed and cigarettes, which I didn't mind at all, but security didn't care.
On three separate occasions, they tried to introduce Michael Longfellow to the stage, with the stage cleared/intro music playing, but Michael Longfellow never came on stage.
At 11:30, there were no more opening acts, and they had to keep pulling opening acts out of nowhere to fill in the time.
The DJ began fighting/arguing with the other people on stage while the crowd just sat there and watched, with probably 20-30 people standing on stage doing nothing for 30 minutes or so.
After four and a half hours of waiting for Michael Longfellow, we just left.
There was a dancer on stage for a couple minutes but drinks were thrown on stage, so she got off.
Lots of other people began to leave too, and the only ones that stayed were the ones that were too drunk/high to care otherwise.
They kept trying to get the crowd hyped, but people began to get very angry about it.
I called my credit card company and refuted the payment, and they didn't charge me for it.
There was no way I was going to pay 250+ for that mess.
